Women Shine Bright in HK & Macau: Our International Women’s Day Tour Concludes

Spring blooms and nature renews. As the 116th International Women’s Day approaches, the company has arranged a special trip to Macau and Hong Kong to recognize the hard work of all female employees, extend corporate care and unite women’s strength. This trip allows them to take a break from busy work, experience the unique charm of Hong Kong and Macau in spring, and celebrate this warm festival.

Centered on "enjoying scenery, tasting delicacies, exploring history and sharing joy", this tightly-packed yet rewarding trip started in European-style Macau. The female colleagues visited The Londoner and The Parisian resorts, immersing themselves in the romance and elegance of European architecture. They checked out the Grand Canal and dreamy artificial sky at The Venetian to experience this exotic water town. As night fell, Macau’s brilliant nightscape unfolded. The group strolled along streets, watching neon lights illuminate the city, and savoured local snacks: Lord Stow’s egg tarts, soft sweet pineapple buns and chewy glutinous rice cakes. They experienced the city’s tenderness and lively charm through a feast for both eyes and taste buds.

On March 8, the journey continued. The female employees visited the Ruins of St. Paul’s. Standing before the landmark, they paused to admire it, touching time-worn stone blocks and listening to its historical tales, experiencing Macau’s profound heritage and unique blend of Chinese and Western cultures. In the afternoon, they packed up and traveled to Hong Kong by chartered bus. Along the way, they crossed the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, hailed as one of the world’s three great wonders, awed by this mega project and the tremendous progress of our nation. Night had fallen upon their arrival in Hong Kong. They boarded a cruise ship for a night tour of Victoria Harbour. Bright lights lined both shores amid clusters of skyscrapers. The gentle evening breeze carried the glamour and romance of Hong Kong. Everyone stopped to take photos, capturing these precious moments with their cameras.

In the latter half of the trip, the group explored Hong Kong’s diverse charm. At the Avenue of Stars, they followed the star plaques and immersed themselves in Hong Kong’s film culture. Yau Ma Tei Police Station served as a classic photo spot, showcasing local Hong Kong street vibes and marks of the times. From Victoria Peak, they overlooked the whole city, where brilliant urban lights intertwined with starry skies, fully revealing Hong Kong’s prosperity and grandeur. Afterwards, the female staff cast aside fatigue, wandering freely through Hong Kong’s streets to pick out favourite goods, taste local delicacies and select souvenirs. They brought this Hong Kong-Macau trip to a wonderful end in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

Though the trip was brief, the bond forged will last, and rewards are abundant. On the way back, the female colleagues shared that they will turn the joy and gains from this trip into motivation and passion for work. With greater energy and a more positive attitude, they will stay dedicated to their posts and strive for excellence. Giving full play to the role of "half the sky", they will contribute women’s strength to the company’s high-quality development with wisdom and hard work, shining with their unique charm on the journey of the new era.

May every woman be treated gently by the world. May you shine bright at work and embrace joy and beauty in life. Cherish time and stay true to yourselves. Let women bloom, with grace everlasting!
